OUR HISTORY
Our roots trace back to the Hörmann Group, where the foundations were laid for highly specialized prototype and model construction. Over the years, that expertise evolved through several organizations, including Voith Engineering Services and later the ROBUR Group, expanding into prototype development, simulation, validation and engineering for some of the most demanding industries.
While company names changed, one thing never did: the people. Generations of engineers, technicians, craftsmen and project specialists continued to refine their skills, build knowledge and push ideas beyond the drawing board. Their experience forms the foundation of Redkite today.
Our home is Chemnitz, a city with a long tradition in automotive engineering, machine building and industrial innovation. Located in the heart of Saxony, a region known for technical excellence and craftsmanship, we are proud to continue a heritage that has shaped industry for more than a century.
As part of a strong entrepreneurial environment alongside Seiwo Technik GmbH and the international Bruns Group, we are building a new chapter. Under the name Redkite Prototyping GmbH, we build on decades of experience with a clear focus on the future: turning complex ideas into proven reality.
